A rich heritage in carbon composites

Fluid composites ltd. was formed in 2020 and was conceived in 2015 when founder Phillippe Oligario (working under Atomik UK) met with Andrew Whapshott (BSc Hons) who had just graduated from Plymouth university with a degree in Marine Composites Technology. Both shared a passion for carbon composites and clearly were destined to work together. Fast forward five years and Andrew has gained a vast amount of experience in composites working for a prestigious supplier of F1 and supercar components to some of the current teams.

Phillippe brings a decade of knowledge and experience in the international moth class having been responsible for many of the innovations we see today including the iconic “Lithium” limited edition moth.

Together, Phillippe and Andrew provide a turnkey composites solution with in house design and CNC capabilities as well as out of autoclave pre preg facilities.

Phil Oligario – Managing Director

Oversees daily running of the business, design and laminating, pre preg, wet lay and infusion.

Andrew Whapshott – Technical Director

Oversees R&D, CAD, CFD, FEA, design and laminating, pre preg, wet lay and infusion.
